I am a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist with over 12 years of clinical experience. I specialize in working with children with speech, language, literacy and/or feeding challenges through an interactive, family-centered approach. My desire is to support children (and their families!) to improve their communication/feeding and maximize outcomes. I use a variety of intervention methods, including play-based and child-centered therapy with a focus on teaching strategies to parents/caregivers to promote carryover at home.

I have specific interests in treating speech sound disorders (e.g., articulation disorders, phonological disorders and childhood apraxia of speech), language delays or disorders, literacy challenges (e.g., dyslexia, difficulty with reading comprehension), pediatric feeding disorders with a focus on food aversions or restricted interests, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I also have extensive experience in both the clinical and research settings with autistic children as well as children with other developmental differences.

My educational background includes a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology as well as a Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology where I focused on research and evidence-based practices. I am nationally certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and licensed in the state of Nebraska.
